On a cold and rainy day in Manchester this December, over 500 people ran the Ugly Sweater 4 Miler presented by Tito’s Handmade Vodka.  The event started and ended at the Backyard Brewery on South Mammoth Road in Manchester NH with runners enjoying a Tito’s cocktail to celebrate their tenacity.  Not only did the runners enjoy the race and post-race celebration, but they were rewarded in knowing that 100% of the proceeds were being donated to the Friends of the Manchester Animal Shelter.  This amazing fundraiser culminated in a $29,000 donation check.

Tito’s Handmade Vodka is on a mission to better the lives of pets and their humans far and wide through its “Vodka for Dog People” program. “Vodka for Dog People” aims to raise money for humane societies and animal welfare non-profits to rescue and protect animals all around the country

At the Manchester Animal Shelter, they believe all animals deserve life, respect, and care. Their goal is zero-population-growth through spay/neuter programs and services that focus on education, medical care, fostering and adoption. Friends of Manchester Animal Shelter is a non-profit organization which started in 1996. The shelter takes in homeless, abused, and abandoned animals in the city of Manchester. They provide shelter, medical care, and spay/neuter to every animal that comes through our doors. In operation for over two decades, the shelter has helped provide care and find loving homes for over 25,000 animals.

Martignetti Companies of NNE enjoys organizing these fundraising events with our partners as we continue to pay it forward, today and into the future.
