The New Hampshire Hospitality Employee Relief Fund – Let’s Keep It Going!

New Hampshire business are coming together to support employees of the NH Hospitality Industry – as of 4/6/20, $108,025 was raised – let’s keep it going!

The New Hampshire Hospitality Employee Relief Fund (NHHERF) was built by the New Hampshire Lodging & Restaurant Association (NHLRA) and the New Hampshire Lodging & Restaurant Association Education Foundation to support employees of the hospitality industry who have been impacted by COVID-19.

The New Hampshire Lodging & Restaurant Association Education Foundation is the sole owner of the New Hampshire Hospitality Employee Relief Fund. As the philanthropic foundation of the NHLRA, the New Hampshire Lodging & Restaurant Association Education Foundation enhances the industry’s service to the public through education, promotion of career opportunities, and community engagement.

How the New Hampshire Hospitality Employee Relief Fund works

The grant issued to the applicant will be a single disbursement. The New Hampshire Lodging & Restaurant Association Education Foundation will not pay installments to the recipient. A submitted application does not guarantee funding. The applications are reviewed by a committee comprised of the New Hampshire Lodging & Restaurant Association Education Foundation and NHLRA board members on an as needed basis. This fund was established for those who create and serve food and beverage as well as lodging employees. Below are examples of eligible employment.

  • Restaurants
  • Fast casual or quick service establishments
  • Bars
  • Cafeterias
  • Nightclubs
  • Wineries and breweries which offer beverage tastings
  • Lodging property employees
  • Food Kiosks or similar establishments
  • Venues which offer event services such as conference centers, golf courses, and ski resorts
  • Commissioned Food and Beverage Sales Representatives
